The church was originally built in the late 1700’s and housed many slaves the slaves did all the work, and they were held in a slave gallery on the 2nd floor. One of the slaves escaped and was shot they say his ghost haunts the church the organ has been heard playing when no one is around it and there is said to be orbs seen there
